
Lt Gen Fayyaz Hussain Shah Lauds Youth, Bravery of Armed Forces During Punjab University Visit
Lahore Corps Commander Lieutenant General Fayyaz Hussain Shah has praised the bravery and professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and the youth of the nation, saying Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos is a testament to the military’s courage and strategic excellence.
During a special address at the University of the Punjab (PU), the corps commander emphasized that the recent military confrontation with India showcased Pakistan’s unity, discipline, and faith, resulting in what he described as a historic national victory.
He further highlighted the role of modern warfare tools like information technology and advanced knowledge, calling them critical components in today’s defense strategies.
While interacting with faculty and students, Lt Gen Shah also observed student artworks based on ‘Marka-e-Haq’, applauding their patriotism and creativity. He said such expressions reflect the depth of national spirit among the youth.
Calling the visit to Pakistan’s oldest university an honor, he paid rich tribute to educators, calling them the “architects of the nation.”
“Young people are the evidence of our country’s bright future,” he said. “We must all work together to make Pakistan safer and stronger.”
