Hamza Ali Abbasi reveals the reason for his break from showbiz
Hamza Ali Abbasi had announced his retirement from the showbiz industry in 2019 to get closer to Islam, after which he did not appear in any drama or film industry for a long time.
The actor also spoke about his temporary retirement from showbiz and Islamic ideology in various interviews.
Recently, the actor gave an interview and clarified his statement about leaving showbiz, saying that I did not say goodbye to showbiz in my video. I said that I have reached some conclusions about God and the hereafter and I want to know about it, for which I am taking a break from showbiz. I also said that it should not be understood that I am leaving the arts for the sake of Islam.
He said that I had also mentioned in my video the interpretation of Islam with which I agree and follow scholar Javed Ahmed Ghamdi, according to which the arts are permissible within a certain morality, so it should not be understood that I am leaving showbiz.
Hamza Ali Abbasi further said that I went to read to him in Dallas, Texas, USA. No one saw the entire video. The next day, there were headlines in the news that I had left showbiz. Seeing this, I sat down and thought that no one had seen the 17-minute video. They should have watched the first 4-minute video and made headlines.
