President and Prime Minister congratulate the national hockey team

ISLAMABAD: The President and the Prime Minister congratulated the national hockey team on Pakistan’s impressive victory over France in the semi-finals of the FIH Nations Cup. President Asif Ali Zardari paid tribute to the players’ high performance, spirit and teamwork. He said that this victory is a source of pride and happiness for the nation, and he is sure that the team will achieve victory in the final with the same spirit.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif paid a wonderful tribute to the Pakistani hockey team for its victory against France. While congratulating the entire nation on the Pakistan hockey team’s entry into the final of the FI Age Nations Cup, he said that the national team made the entire nation proud and won hearts. He prayed that the national team would hoist the flag of victory in the final match as well.
