Japan’s Embassy Donates 92 books to NUTECH Islamabad

These books were donated under the “the Read Japan Project of the Nippon Foundation

Islamabad: The Embassy of Japan in Pakistan, in collaboration with the Nippon Foundation, has donated a collection of 92 books on Japan to National University of Technology (NUTECH) Islamabad.

H.E. Mr. AKAMATSU Shuichi, the Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, presented the books at a ceremony held on Friday, June 27.

The 92 carefully selected books in English language cover a range of topics related to Japan such as politics, economy, security, philosophy, art and culture.

These books were donated under the “the Read Japan Project of the Nippon Foundation” aiming to promote further understanding of Japan through books. Libraries overseas are chosen to receive books each year. Those books will help the students to gain access to the information necessary to research and learn about Japan.
