Slogans against Israeli army in Britain: Singers’ US visas revoked
Washington: The US visas of singers have been revoked for chanting slogans against the Israeli army and in favor of Palestinian independence during a concert in the UK.
According to a foreign news agency, the US State Department revoked the visas of members of the music band Bob Vylan for chanting slogans against the Israeli army on stage at the Glastonbury Music Festival on Saturday.
The US Deputy Secretary of State wrote on the social media platform that “in light of the hate speeches and slogans at Glastonbury, the US visas of members of the Bob Vylan band have been revoked. Foreigners who promote hatred and violence will not be welcome in the United States.”
