Geo film “Deemak” included in Shanghai Film Festival

Pakistani cinema’s famous horror film “Termite” has been awarded a major honor and the film has been officially invited to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Film Festival 2025.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Film Festival will be held from July 3 to 7, 2025 in Yongchuan, Chongqing (China).
The film festival is being hosted by China under the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, with the aim of promoting cultural exchange and film cooperation among the region’s 10 member states and 2 observer countries.
Produced under the banner of Geofilms, Termite will be screened alongside other films from the region at the festival, which will also feature film screenings, competitions and international cooperation meetings.

The festival is being organized in collaboration with the China Film Administration and the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government. The film’s director, Rafi Rashidi, has been specially invited to attend the festival.
