
Attock: Rescue 1122 rescues drowning man in River Haro
Attock: A person drowning in the river was saved thanks to the preventive measures taken by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
A shepherd was suddenly caught in the flash flood in the Haro River near Attock. Upon receiving information, a prepared team of Rescue 1122 immediately reached Mari Kunjur.
Rescue 1122 emergency service experts and enthusiastic rescuers immediately launched a rescue operation.
Rescuers went hundreds of feet down and safely pulled the shepherd out of the river, waiting for help. The rescue team pulled a 45-year-old citizen out of the floodplain of the Haroke River and shifted him to a safe place.
The victim thanked Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the rescuers and said that Allah Almighty gave him a new life.
It should be noted that on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, commissioners, deputy commissioners and rescue teams across the province were alerted at the onset of the monsoon.
Due to the mobilization and alertness of the administration and rescue teams, timely action was taken in the Mari Kanjur area of ??Attock district to save human lives.
