Artist connects people, that’s why he is banned first: Mahira Khan

Pakistan’s world-renowned actress Mahira Khan has said that we artists are the ones who connect people, which is why we are the first to be banned.

The actress has expressed her views on the tension between Pakistan and India and the restrictions imposed on artists.
During an interview, when asked about the ban on Pakistani artists on social media in India, Mahira Khan said that she has no reaction to this ban.

She said that I still love my fans, fans are fans, people get involved in politics in a way, but it is political issues that impose restrictions, which I do not believe in.
The actress said that if a war starts or the political situation worsens, why are we artists the first to be attacked? This is a matter of thought because artists and art are the only things that connect people, so artists are the first to be banned. I am an actor, if films are stopped, I will do drama or theater, I will not lose anything in this.
