Katie Price Forced to Leave £5K-a-Month Rental a Year After ‘Mucky Mansion’ Eviction

Jul 4, 2025

LONDON – Former glamour model and media personality Katie Price is once again facing housing instability, revealing she has been asked to vacate her current £5,000-a-month rental home, just a year after being evicted from her infamous “Mucky Mansion.”

The 47-year-old shared the news on her podcast, stating:

“I’ve got to move house as the guy who owns it wants to sell. I might go closer to the kids’ school… I’m going to talk to him – he might let me stay a bit longer, but he might not.”

The Tudor-style four-bedroom property in rural Sussex had served as a sanctuary for Katie after her March 2024 second bankruptcy and the subsequent forced sale of the £1.5 million Mucky Mansion, purchased by her in 2014 from Tory peer Francis Maude.

That property, which gained fame through her Channel 4 series “Mucky Mansion”, was ultimately sold for £1.15 million — significantly less than its asking price. Despite years of attempted renovations and public attention, Katie later described the home as “cursed”, citing years of bad memories and misfortune.

“I’ve had nothing but bad memories in that house,” she once said.

Now, Katie finds herself once again navigating housing uncertainty. Her current rental, featuring an open-plan kitchen and double garage, is up for sale by its owner — potentially forcing her to relocate, possibly nearer to her children’s school.

The ongoing housing issues highlight Katie’s continued financial struggles, as the debts attached to the Mucky Mansion consumed any proceeds from its sale. Despite her high media visibility, including podcast appearances and social media updates, her post-bankruptcy lifestyle remains turbulent.
