According to information received from the Alpine Club of Pakistan and the mountaineering community of Pakistan, the climbers who have scaled Nanga Parbat in the last 24 hours include Dr. Rana Hassan Javed, Ali Hassan, Sohail Sakhi, Ashraf Sadpara and Sherzad Karim, of whom Ashraf Sadpara and Sohail Sakhi scaled Nanga Parbat without using artificial oxygen.
Dr. Rana Hassan Javed, who lives in Rawalpindi, had scaled Nanga Parbat yesterday. Dr. Hassan was part of a team of 8 local and foreign climbers. Nanga Parbat is his second 8,000-meter peak. Earlier, he had scaled Gesherbram II last year.

Along with Dr. Rana Hassan, high-altitude porter Ali Hassan, who hails from the Hoshe Valley, also scaled Nanga Parbat yesterday.
