Abhishek Bachchan Dismisses Divorce Rumours, Praises Aishwarya Rai’s Support

Abhishek Bachchan has firmly denied ongoing rumours surrounding his marriage with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, calling the speculation unfounded and disconnected from reality.

In a recent interview, the Dasvi actor addressed social media chatter suggesting friction in his marriage, clarifying that his personal life remains unaffected by external noise. “I go back home to a happy family,” he said, crediting Aishwarya for maintaining peace and emotional stability in their household.

He added that both his mother, veteran actress Jaya Bachchan, and his wife have always ensured that the outside world does not influence their private life. “One thing is for sure — first my mother, and now my wife, they don’t allow that outside world to come in there,” he shared.

Coming from one of Bollywood’s most prominent film families, Abhishek emphasized that his upbringing within the industry has helped him distinguish between credible information and baseless gossip. “I have grown up in this film industry, so I know what to take seriously and what not to take seriously. I don’t get affected by what’s happening on social media,” he stated.

For several months, fans and media speculated about a possible rift between Abhishek and Aishwarya, citing her limited appearances at family events and subdued activity on social media. Rumours also suggested disagreements within the extended Bachchan family.

Despite the persistent speculation, neither Abhishek nor Aishwarya had publicly addressed the rumours—until now. With his latest remarks, Abhishek seems to have decisively quashed the divorce speculation.

The couple, who married in 2007 and share a daughter, Aaradhya, have often found themselves under the scrutiny of the public eye. However, Abhishek’s reaffirmation of a strong family bond appears to set the record straight—for now.
