England’s star cricketer Joe Root is not only the best batsman but also a fielder and now he has set a new record in Test cricket.

On the second day of the third Test match against India at Lord’s, Joe Root entered his name in the record books with a brilliant one-handed catch of Karun Nair at slip.
Joe Root has taken the most catches in the longest format with 211, more than India’s Rahul Dravid.
Joe Root caught Karun Nair with one hand just before the ball hit the ground. The umpire consulted the third umpire, who also declared him out.
