Saba Qamar Adds Humor to Lahore’s Monsoon Woes with Viral Video

LAHORE – Renowned actress Saba Qamar brought a much-needed dose of laughter to social media as she reacted to Lahore’s recent monsoon chaos with her signature wit and relatability.

In the midst of ongoing rainfall that left many areas of the city submerged, Saba reshared a viral video showing a car bravely navigating through knee-deep floodwater on a rain-soaked Lahore street. What made the clip especially hilarious was the voiceover — a man humorously claiming he had arrived in Lahore only to discover it had turned into a floating city.

“The roads looked like canals, and the cars appeared to float like boats,” joked the narrator in the video, as the scene of urban flooding unfolded onscreen.

Saba Qamar couldn’t help but laugh. Reposting the clip with a laughing emoji, she captioned it: “That was hilarious, man. I laughed so hard. You made my day!” She also gave a nod to Lahoris for maintaining their sense of humor even when dealing with soggy and frustrating situations.

The viral moment comes just days after record-breaking rainfall inundated the provincial capital, sparking renewed criticism of Lahore’s drainage infrastructure and urban planning.

In contrast to the comic relief, Saba also offered her followers a moment of spiritual reflection earlier this week. Taking to Instagram, the Baaghi star shared her thoughts on the calming and rejuvenating power of the Fajr prayer, saying:

“Fajr teaches you that even the darkest night will end and a new light will rise, both outside and within.”

The 41-year-old actress continues to balance humor, elegance, and introspection on her social platforms. She recently went viral once again in a different context — this time during a soul-stirring qawwali night with fellow actress Salma Zafar. Videos captured Saba deeply immersed in the music, swirling gracefully in a moment of spiritual ecstasy.

Through both laughter and reflection, Saba Qamar shows her ability to connect with audiences across moods and moments, whether it’s finding comedy in chaos or solace in faith.
