
Under-17 Snooker Championship: Pakistani cueist Hasnain Akhtar reaches final
Manama: Pakistan’s Hasnain Akhtar has reached the final of the Under-17 event of the IBSF World Snooker Championship.
According to reports received from the capital of Bahrain, Manama, Hasnain Akhtar defeated Poland’s Olwar Nezalek 0-4 in the semi-finals of the Under-17 event of the ongoing championship and set his sights on the title.
Hasnain Akhtar defeated Poland’s Krzysztof Czapnik 1-3 in the quarterfinals and Oman’s Mutasim Al-Saadi 0-3 in the pre-quarterfinals.
On the other hand, world champion Muhammad Asif reached the semifinals of the Masters event. Three-time world champion Muhammad Asif defeated host player Habib Sabah 0-4 in the quarterfinals.
In the pre-quarterfinals, Muhammad Asif defeated UAE’s Qist Muhammad Shahab 2-4.
