Abu Ubaida Urges Muslim World to Brace for Prolonged Conflict with Israel

Jul 18, 2025

Abu Ubaida, military spokesman for the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas, says that the Gaza resistance is fully prepared to continue a long war with Israel.
According to Arab media, in his first video speech since last March, Abu Ubaida said that 4 months have passed since Israel resumed its aggression after breaking the agreements. During this period, the resistance killed and wounded hundreds of Israeli soldiers and thousands of soldiers suffered from psychological illnesses.
He added that the fighters of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades are learning a lot from the longest conflict in the history of the Palestinian people and are surprising the enemy with new strategies and methods. Abu Ubaida said that at this stage, the leadership of the al-Qassam Brigades is adopting a strategy of inflicting casualties on the enemy, conducting special operations and capturing its soldiers.
He warned that the occupation government’s continued war in Gaza means that it will continue to carry the bodies of its soldiers and officers.

He said that the enemy has unlimited support from the most powerful oppressive forces in the world, while the Muslim world sees its brothers in Gaza being martyred and deprived of water and medicine.
Abu Ubaida said, referring to the Muslim world, that the leaders and dignitaries of the Muslim and Arab nations are responsible for the blood of these tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians who were martyred because of the silence of the young man.

Abu Ubaida reiterated the resistance’s full support for the negotiating delegation regarding the current round of indirect talks between Hamas and Israel.
Abu Ubaida said that the resistance has repeatedly offered a comprehensive agreement in recent months, including an offer to hand over all enemy prisoners at once, but war criminal Netanyahu rejected the offer.
He said that he hopes that the current negotiations will result in an agreement that guarantees an end to the war, the withdrawal of Israeli troops, and relief for the people of Gaza. However, if the enemy backs out of this round of negotiations, he will not discuss proposals such as a partial ceasefire or the release of 10 prisoners.
