Billie Eilish Joins Forces with James Cameron for 3D Concert Film During World Tour

Jul 21, 2025

Manchester, UK : Global pop sensation Billie Eilish has announced an unprecedented collaboration with legendary filmmaker James Cameron for an upcoming 3D concert film. The reveal came during her sold-out Hit Me Hard and Soft world tour stop in Manchester, where Eilish teased fans about a “very, very special” cinematic project currently being filmed.

“I’m working on something with someone named James Cameron,” the 23-year-old Grammy and Oscar-winning artist said from the stage, prompting a roar from the crowd. “And yes, it’s going to be in 3D.”

Cameron, known for pioneering immersive film experiences in Avatar, Titanic, and The Abyss, is expected to bring a new visual dimension to the live concert experience. The concert film aims to deliver a hyper-realistic and emotionally immersive journey for fans, blending Eilish’s haunting vocals and futuristic stage design with Cameron’s cinematic storytelling.

Eilish also hinted that fans attending her Manchester shows would be part of the filming, humorously warning she might repeat her outfit for continuity purposes.

This marks Billie’s third foray into concert films, following her 2021 projects The World’s a Little Blurry and Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles — both critically acclaimed for their emotional depth and raw storytelling.

The collaboration aligns with Eilish’s broader creative vision and environmental advocacy. She recently introduced a 100% vegan food policy at select tour venues, sparking a mix of praise and debate among fans.

The release date and distribution platform for the 3D concert film have yet to be announced, but industry insiders expect a theatrical and streaming dual rollout later this year.
