Ghotki, Sindh — The body of social media influencer Sumaira Rajput, popularly known on TikTok, was discovered at her residence in the Bago Wah locality of Ghotki on July 25, 2025. According to reports, police are treating her death as suspicious, with multiple leads under investigation and two suspects arrested—including her ex-husband, Ali Raza (also spelled Ali Rajput), along with another man named Adnan Rajput
Sumaira, a divorced mother and content creator with over 58,000 followers on TikTok, was accused posthumously by her family of being pressured into a forced marriage. Her 15-year-old daughter alleged that her mother had been given poisonous tablets, supposedly administered by the suspects The News International. Although initial reports show no visible marks of violence, forensic samples have been sent for further analysis to confirm the cause of death
A chilling video, reportedly recorded by Sumaira a few days before her death, resurfaced online in which she named her ex-husband and warned that if anything happened to her, he should be held responsible
Police have not yet registered an FIR, but authorities assure the public and the family that the investigation is being treated with seriousness as they await detailed autopsy results and proceed with legal inquiry
