Couple Injured in Kitchen Cylinder Explosion in Nowshera
Nowshera – July 27, 2025:
A husband and wife sustained serious injuries following a gas cylinder explosion in the kitchen of their home in Madina Colony Phase 2, Nowshera, according to local sources.
The incident occurred in a house owned by Noorul Saboor, where a gas leak is suspected to have caused the blast during kitchen use. The explosion resulted in significant injuries to both residents.
Emergency responders from Rescue 1122 arrived promptly at the scene and provided first aid before transferring the victims to Qazi Medical Complex, where they are currently receiving treatment.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the exact cause of the blast, but investigations are underway to determine whether the explosion was due to negligence, equipment malfunction, or gas leakage.
