Gaza: Destruction is heartbreaking: British Foreign Secretary

London: British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said that the devastation in Gaza is heartbreaking, children are dying of hunger, and Israel’s humiliation of the Palestinians in the name of aid is appalling.

The British Foreign Secretary said that Britain will demonstrate responsibility by supporting the two-state solution, adding that the two-state solution is in danger due to Israeli actions in Gaza.
He said that the Netanyahu government’s rejection of the two-state solution is immoral, and the British government intends to recognize a Palestinian state in September.

David Lammy said that Israel should take steps to end the terrible situation in Gaza, that Israel should end its military campaign, and that it should commit to peace-based operations.
