
Actor’s body found in car parked in parking lot
South Korean actor Song Yong-kyu has been found dead inside a parked car.
The body of 55-year-old actor Song Yong-kyu was found inside a parked car at his residential complex near Seoul on Monday, August 4, according to South Korea’s state-run news agency.
According to the report, the actor was found dead inside the car by an acquaintance at 8 am. Police told the media that no suicide note was found in the actor’s car and no evidence of the actor’s murder has been found.
However, police said that the real cause of death will be known only after the post-mortem report of the body.
It should be noted that Song Yong-kyu was recently found to be involved in a drunk driving incident, where he drove for 3 miles while intoxicated. His blood alcohol level was so high that it exceeded the limit for driver’s license revocation.After the incident, he was dropped from three projects, including two plays, “The Defects” and “The Winning Troy,” while he also dropped out of a stage play, “Shakespeare in Love.”
Song played the role of Chief in the 2019 hit film “Extreme Job.” He also appeared in Netflix’s “Narco Saints” and the Disney Plus series “Big Beat.”
