Egyptian: Judo athlete Dina Alaa murdered by husband

Cairo: (Web Desk) Egypt’s famous judo player Dina Alaa was shot dead by her husband.

Police say that three bullet marks were found on the 28-year-old athlete’s body. She was killed during a domestic dispute. Initial investigations have named Dina’s husband as the main suspect. He himself was found near the flat with gunshot wounds and was taken to the hospital.
According to local media, residents told police that the couple often had arguments. The police suspected that during an argument, the husband shot Dina and then attempted suicide.

Their two young children were also present at the house at the time of the incident, but fortunately they were safe.
