Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor has exposed the harsh reality of the Indian music industry.

Singer Kanika Kapoor, who rose to fame with the popular Bollywood songs ‘Chitiyaan Kalaiyaan’ and ‘Baby Doll’, has revealed about the music industry and said that most singers in the industry are not paid their dues.
When asked about not getting paid for a viral song in an interview, Kanika said, “Singers are often paid less or not paid at all.”

The singer revealed that she was paid a meager amount of Rs 101 for the songs, adding that the industry treats singers as if they are being given a favour by giving them songs.
She added that this is not limited to new singers, I can also talk about famous singers in India who were not paid without naming names.
