George Clooney’s cousin Isabela Ferrer accuses Justin Baldoni of ‘harassment’
Isabela Ferrer, who played the younger version of Blake Lively’s character in It Ends with Us, has fired back at director-star Justin Baldoni in a legal dispute that is heating up behind the scenes of the hit film.
The 24-year-old actress, and second cousin of George Clooney, filed a fiery legal rebuttal this month, accusing Baldoni of using “harassment tactics” through repeated attempts to subpoena her.
The 41-year-old filmmaker, who also co-produced the movie, claimed Ferrer has been unreachable and unresponsive to requests for all communications tied to Blake Lively’s ongoing federal lawsuit against him.
Court filings show that process servers failed to locate Ferrer at addresses in Brooklyn and Sag Harbor. Baldoni’s legal team then sought permission for “alternative service.” But Ferrer’s attorney, Sanford Michelman, blasted the request, arguing that Baldoni’s team listed “addresses that could have been Ms. Ferrer’s home” without proper verification.
According to documents obtained by People, Ferrer’s lawyers accused Baldoni of “engaging in bad faith tactics” and pursuing the motion “for improper purposes and with the aim of harassing and exerting pressure” on her. Michelman urged Judge Lewis J Liman to deny the motion entirely and impose sanctions on Baldoni.
The legal clash traces back to February, when Ferrer responded to a subpoena from Lively by invoking an indemnification clause in her It Ends with Us contract with Wayfarer Studios. That clause required the studio to cover her legal fees, though the studio reportedly conditioned payment on Ferrer surrendering control of her response. She has since hired private counsel.

Ferrer made her screen debut as young Lily Bloom in the 2023 adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel, a breakout role that came after a nationwide casting search and reported approval from Taylor Swift. While she once praised Baldoni for creating a “positive and safe environment” on set, her legal filings now paint a starkly different picture of their offscreen relationship.
The escalating battle underscores the widening rift between Baldoni and his It Ends with Us cast. With Ferrer joining the growing list of those taking legal aim at the director, the dispute shows no sign of cooling.
