Broken roads; “Is this repair or a joke?” Pooja Bhatt lashed out at the municipality
Monsoon rains in India have shattered the 15-year rule of the Modi government, resulting in the loss of many precious lives and destruction of property and property of citizens. The rains and the destruction they caused did not spare Mumbai either. Bollywood artists could not remain safe and lashed out at the government.
Actress and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt has strongly criticized Mumbai’s dilapidated and pothole-filled roads.
Pooja Bhatt expressed her grief and anger over the plight of the roads in Mumbai’s posh area, saying that major roads are closed for months in the name of repairs.
The actress added that when they are built, the situation becomes even more dangerous than before. It is either repaired or made fun of.
Pooja Bhatt added that the situation is a wake-up call for citizens, especially during monsoon days when the risk of accidents increases due to water filling the pits.
Social media users also accused the local administration of spending money on frivolous projects for mere cosmetic reasons and ignoring basic issues like roads and drainage.
Pooja Bhatt said that the current state of the city is making life difficult for the citizens and raises the question of whether this is real progress or just a show.
It may be recalled that Pooja Bhatt was recently seen in the Bigg Boss OTT and Amazon Mini TV series “Big Girls Don’t Cry”.
