Alberta Separation Referendum Question Gets Green Light The proposed referendum question for Alberta’s potential separation from Canada has been approved. The question reads: “Do you agree that the Province of Alberta should cease to be part of Canada to become an independent state?”
This comes after the Alberta Prosperity Project submitted the question for approval, and it has been accepted by Elections Alberta.
