
Ambassador Syed Haider Shah Meets with Dutch Textile Company Vespo B.V. in Eindhoven
Eindhoven: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Netherlands, *Syed Haider Shah, visited the head office of Vespo B.V., a leading Dutch textile company, where he held a productive meeting with the company’s Managing Director, *Marc Camerling.
During the discussions, Vespo highlighted its positive experience in sourcing home textiles from Pakistan, praising the country’s reputation for high-quality products, skilled labor, and reliable supply chains. Both sides acknowledged the strength of Pakistan’s textile sector, which continues to be among the most competitive globally.
The talks also touched upon emerging EU legislation on circularity and sustainability, with a focus on the challenges and opportunities this framework presents for exporters and importers. Ambassador Shah reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to adopting sustainable practices in line with international standards.
He further assured Vespo of the Embassy’s support in facilitating business-to-business linkages and enhancing trade relations between Pakistan and the Netherlands, particularly in the textile sector.
