Dutch International Youth Regatta: Pakistan’s Farid Arif and Ryan Malik win gold medals

Amsterdam: Pakistan’s Fareed Arif and Ryan Malik win gold medal in open men’s double scull race.

Pakistan’s Fareed Muhammad Arif and Ryan Malik, representing KBC Pakistan, performed brilliantly on the first day of the Dutch International Youth Regatta and won gold medal in the open men’s double scull race. The competition was held in Amsterdam in which more than 800 young athletes from 8 countries participated.

The participating countries in this competition include Pakistan, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, UK, France, Ukraine and USA. Farid and Ryan from Pakistan showed excellent coordination and extraordinary endurance, leaving their international rivals behind.

Their lead was so clear that the other boats were not visible at the finish line.
