Falak Shabbir Extends Full Support to Pakistan Idol Contestants, Allows Free Use of His Songs
(Web Desk) Famous Pakistani singer Falak Shabbir has made a heartwarming announcement, allowing contestants and judges of the musical reality show Pakistan Idol to sing his songs without any prior permission.
The singer’s statement came in response to Sajjad Ali’s recent remarks regarding restrictions on performing his songs during the same show. Sajjad Ali had earlier stated in a press conference that while contestants could potentially win the competition by performing his tracks, they were unable to do so because a financial agreement with the show’s organizers had not been finalized.
His statement sparked criticism online, with many suggesting that established artists should support emerging talent rather than creating barriers.
Taking a contrasting stance, Falak Shabbir announced unconditional permission for the use of his songs on Pakistan Idol. He emphasized that his decision was meant to encourage young and talented singers, helping them gain recognition and bring pride to Pakistan on international stages.
Falak further praised the judges and participants, assuring them of his full support and expressing hope that platforms like Pakistan Idol would play a vital role in discovering and nurturing new voices in the country’s music industry.
