
I won’t make films to mislead people: John Abraham
Delhi: (Web Desk) Bollywood actor John Abraham has said that he will never make films to mislead people.
Bollywood actor John Abraham has spoken openly about censorship and political sensitivities ahead of the release of his new film ‘Tehran’.
Emphasizing the delicate balance between creative freedom and regulation in the Indian film industry, he said that he would never make films that were intended to influence people politically.
John Abraham has said that getting permission to show “Tehran” in theaters was a challenge and thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for allowing the film to be shown. He acknowledged the need for a censor board but questioned its current procedures.
He has further said that I am neither right-wing nor left-wing, I am politically aware and want to demonstrate honesty in my films. I am not in favor of making films based on political or offensive themes for commercial gain, but rather stick to my creative identity.
