Pakistan hockey team rise to 12th in FIH rankings

LAHORE – Pakistan’s national hockey team has moved up two places in the international rankings.

Before the ongoing World Cup Qualifier in Egypt, Pakistan had 2,033 ranking points. Victories against China and Malaysia increased their tally to 2,237 points.

As a result, Pakistan climbed from 14th to 12th position in the International Hockey Federation (FIH) world rankings.

Pakistan has already secured a place in the semi-finals of the World Cup Qualifier and will play its final group match against Austria on Wednesday.
