Faisalabad: South Africa defeated Pakistan by 8 wickets in the second ODI match to level the series at 1-1.
The Proteas chased down the target of 270 runs set by the Green Shirts in 40.1 overs for the loss of 2 wickets.
For South Africa, Quinton de Kock played an unbeaten innings of 123 runs, his innings included 7 sixes and 8 fours, Tony de Zorzi was out for 76 and Louwan Pretorius for 46 runs, while Matthew Bretze was not out for 17 runs.
For Pakistan, Faheem Ashraf and Mohammad Wasim Jr. took one wicket each.
Earlier, in the match played at the Iqbal Cricket Stadium in Faisalabad, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first against South Africa and scored 269 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
