NEPRA reduces electricity tariffs by Rs 1.88 per unit

ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has announced a Rs1.88 per unit cut in power tariffs for the general public. According to a notification issued by Nepra, the price reduction applies to DISCOs’ consumers under the Quarterly Fuel Cost Adjustment (FCA)

NEPRA has decided to use technology for timely escalation of complaints of electricity consumers. Preparations for launching a mobile application called ‘Nepra Asan Approach’ for electricity consumers have been completed, the authority should launch the mobile app tomorrow for the convenience of consumers
