TikToker Samia Hijab case: Accused remanded into police custody for five days
Islamabad:(Web News)A court in the federal capital on Tuesday remanded the accused in the abduction and harassment case of TikToker Samia Hijab into police custody for five days.
Police produced the suspect, Hasan Zahid, before Judicial Magistrate Yasir Mehmood Chaudhry.
During the hearing, the judge questioned him about the incident. In response, Zahid admitted his wrongdoing, saying, “Sir, I made a mistake.”
Investigators had requested an eight-day physical remand, arguing that a vehicle, a pistol, and cash were yet to be recovered from the accused. However, the court approved only five days, directing police to complete the investigation within that period.
