Zainab Raza lands in hot water over ‘double standards’

Netizens have come down hard on Zainab Raza for ‘double standards’ over spiritual post.

The lifestyle personality found herself at the center of an online storm after sharing a post about her spiritual journey on Instagram.

The post, in which Zainab spoke about reconnecting with her faith during Muharram, immediately drew sharp criticism from followers. 

While some praised her for showing a reflective side, many accused her of “hypocrisy” and “double standards.”

“Hypocrisy is so common nowadays,” one user wrote. Another harshly commented: “I thought she was a feminist. Why is she suddenly talking about religion only in Muharram?” 

Others went further, questioning her appearance, saying she should adopt a consistent modest style rather than only turning towards spirituality during religious months.

Zainab Raza, however, is no stranger to criticism. Known for her daring photoshoots, short dresses, and glamorous public appearances, she has often been at the receiving end of online trolling. Despite this, her popularity has only grown over the years, making her a well-recognized face on social media.

She began her career as a fashion model in the late 2010s, quickly rising to fame for her modern style and unapologetic personality. 

From western-inspired outfits to edgy photoshoots, she cultivated an image of someone confident, fearless, and trendsetting. This very image, however, has also made her a target of harsh online commentary, particularly from more conservative sections of society.
