“You just know who you are. And the people who matter – your friends and your family – they know who I am,” she said.
“Everything else is just noise… none of it’s real. I’m just surrounded by really good people. I love my job, I love my characters, and I just stay focused.”
Her remarks came shortly after paparazzi footage showed her appearing to shout at Davino, 42, during what witnesses described as a “screaming match” in Santa Monica.
The actress was seen dining privately with friends at the popular restaurant Giorgio Baldi before quietly getting into a car driven by her ex. According to reports, she was overheard saying: “I don’t believe you. Please leave, leave me alone.”
Sweeney and Davino were together for several years and got engaged in early 2022 but called it quits earlier this year. Despite their split, the two have been seen together multiple times in recent months, sparking speculation about whether they are reconciling or maintaining a friendship.
Sydney has also been linked to music executive Scooter Braun, 42, best known for managing stars like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande. The two reportedly met at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding in Italy over the summer and have been spotted together on several occasions since.
Sources close to the actress told The Sun and Page Six that Sydney and Braun are “very serious” and “see each other often,” with friends describing their relationship as “hot and heavy.”
While Sydney continues to make headlines for her personal life, the Emmy-nominated star seems determined to drown out the chatter. As she put it: “The people who matter know who I am — and that’s all that really counts.”
