Kim Kardashian turns heads with masked look at Academy Museum Gala

(Web News)Kim Kardashian attracted attention at this year’s Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles with a highly unusual look that left fans and fashion observers talking.

The 44-year-old arrived wearing a flesh-toned mask that covered her entire face and head, paired with a nude Maison Margiela gown featuring a skintight corset bodice and bat-wing-like sleeves.

The outfit sparked widespread discussion on social media, with fans speculating about the reasons behind the masked appearance.

Some suggested she might be recovering from a cosmetic procedure, while others joked about the unusual style choice.

On X (formerly Twitter), one user wrote: “Kim Kardashian must’ve gotten some work done recently. She’s healing! No other explanation for this fashion choice.”

Kim accessorised her ensemble with a diamond choker and emerald rings, along with a dramatic claw-like manicure.

The overall effect was striking and reminiscent of her previous bold fashion statements, including the all-black Balenciaga catsuit with a matching balaclava she wore to the 2021 Met Gala.

The appearance came shortly after Kim attended her younger sister Kylie Jenner’s pop-up store launch in West Hollywood.

For that event, she wore a baby-pink latex gown with a plunging halter neckline, clear platform heels, and long back-grazing hair extensions, showcasing a contrasting glamorous style.

Earlier in the week, Kim also attended the premiere of the series All’s Fair, joining co-stars Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, and Sarah Paulson on the red carpet.
